Ultraman appeared in the Japanese hit television series of the same name in the 1960's. " His" facial features show no sign of gender specificity. The mohawk-like metallic protrusion on the head could be equally fashionable/funtional on a male or female character and the frock-like outer garment seems to be covering something between female mammaries and worked-out male pectoral muscles. The protrusion at the groin is somewhere between mound-like and pouch-like. Indeed, Ultraman was super/non-human in his scale (130 feet tall) and powers as well as in appearance. Perhaps a more appropriate name for this superhero would be be just "Ultra" without the "man".
